Make an Online Course – Step 4

Now it’s time to create your own online course.

To make an online course that sells, keep it simple by focusing on these three steps:

  • What topic you want to teach: One single result for the learner. Ideal for use in your course title and description. More specific topics; more courses on your eLearning website; more income thanks to cross-selling.
  • The topic key points: The main steps to be developed to achieve the result. This will form the structure of your course sections. Adding 5 to 7 steps will increase your learners’ engagement.
  • How to explain each point: This will help you choose the best format for each activity. With this explanation, you have the content for each activity in the section.

Customize your course page layout easily by using the existing course content templates:

The other section you should add to your course pages is the course contents section. This uses all the information you provided on your course sections and activities: titles, descriptions, and images.

To add it, hover over between the course page sections and click on the ‘+Add section’. Click on ‘Course Contents’ and choose your desired layout.
